 Punjab Government once again ready to start laptop scheme from end of this month despite huge irregularities found in previous scheme.

A report published in a local news paper said that huge irregularities have been revealed.

The report said that an audit still could not be completed regarding the distributed laptops in previous scheme.

The report said that Higher Education given an order for the audit after reports of irregularities in the scheme but due to incomplete information it could not be completed.

The report quoted the sources that there were many irregularities discovered as powerful personalities given the laptops to their relatives who were the ex-students.

According to the report, the Higher Commission has categorically said that this time all actions would be taken to make sure transparency.
